Feels like only yesterday we were recovering from post summer holiday blues and getting back into our workout routines, and now we’re planning our next mini-break for Eid! Not that we’re complaining, but somehow it does feel a little too soon to be falling off the training wagon again… Fortunately thanks to you, our gorgeous Sand & Smoke community who have shown us just how you are staying fit while traveling, we’ve discovered that just because we are far from home, training certainly doesn’t need to be forgotten. HIKING.

One of the best ways to burn calories without even realising you are doing it, hiking allows you to explore the great outdoors and capture many an instagram worthy view while you are at it. (@mfsmaryam)

CITY RUN.

The best (and fastest) way to get a feel for your new surrounds is to discover it by foot. So swap your heels for trainers and get out there and see the sights. Take a quick jog before the shops open and plan out your retail therapy for the day. (@linamustafa6)

SURFS UP.

If a beach holiday is more your style, then its time to dust off your surfboard and take up that surfing lesson you have been putting off. With nothing but time on your hands, its the perfect opportunity to channel your inner surfer girl. (@alps1)

BOXING.

Going on a city break? Then its time to get in the ring. One of the best parts of exploring a new city discovering its hidden gems, restaurants, bars, and even gyms. Why not use your extra time on holiday to fit in that class and experience the urban grit of an inner city fight club. (@befitbebeautiful_yk)


 

YOGA.
